He doesn't have any of the answers we need anyways. Even if he commented it wouldn't make a difference. It would be the same as his impersonal form letters. He believes his best option is to stay quiet until we all settle down. That's what worked for him in the past.
He must be forgetting that we live in an age where communication between the various groups is so easy, exposing how hollow his words are. Your website is a perfect example.
